Description

The Gretsch G2420T Streamliner features a laminated maple body with chambered construction, resulting in a lightweight guitar well suited to frequent gigging. Classic F-shaped sound holes enhance acoustic projection and give the instrument a traditional 1950s-inspired look. The single-cutaway design allows easy access to the higher frets across the fingerboard.

A white-bound nato neck with a thin U-shaped profile offers a comfortable playing feel. This is paired with a 12-inch radius rosewood fingerboard, pearloid block inlays, and 22 medium jumbo frets, providing a smooth, fast-playing surface with a warm, natural response.

Two Broad'Tron humbucking pickups are fitted, delivering high output with strong low end, clear highs, and a focused midrange that works well in a mix. The traditional control layout includes individual neck and bridge volume controls, a master tone control, a master volume control, and three-way pickup switching.

An anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge provides accurate intonation via six individually adjustable saddles. This is combined with a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, allowing the bridge to move slightly with string motion, helping to reduce friction and improve tuning stability.
