Description
Part of Fender’s limited-run Hot Rodded American Series, the Big Apple Stratocaster debuted in 1997 as the first U.S.-made Strat equipped with dual humbuckers straight from the factory. Designed for players craving heftier tones without sacrificing Strat feel, the Big Apple delivers bold sonic versatility—from warm, vintage-style lead tones via the Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck to biting overdrive courtesy of the Pearly Gates Plus in the bridge. With its classic alder body, tortoiseshell pickguard in white models, and familiar Strat layout updated for modern rock styles, the Big Apple offered a powerful, yet unmistakably Stratocaster, playing experience.
