Description
The BOSS CS-1 Compression Sustainer pedal has a distinct blue design that sets it apart from other pedals in the market. Made by Japanese company Roland, it was their first compact compressor pedal ever produced and was only available from 1978 to 1982. Unlike its successors, CS-2 and CS-3, the internal construction of CS-1 is different due to its use of photo couplers. This has made it stand out in terms of both sound quality and durability, making it a highly sought-after vintage collectible and increasing its value in the used market.
