Description
The PE-R60 features an arched solid maple top paired with a contoured mahogany back, designed for maximum playing comfort. This combination enhances vibration transfer from the strings, delivering a well-balanced and dynamic tonal response with excellent clarity and depth.
Separate bridge and tailpiece systems are used to maximise sustain and expand tonal variation. The SPT bridge includes a locking mechanism to reduce unwanted resonance, while the QH tailpiece allows for quick string changes by securely anchoring the ball end in a dedicated slot.
A 3-piece maple neck joins the body with a heel-less cutaway design, reducing body thickness at the heel and allowing smooth access to higher frets up to the 22nd.
The R-I circuit provides extensive tonal flexibility with a 3-position pickup selector, individual front and rear volume and tone controls, and dual sound switches for both pickups. These switches allow selection between series humbucking mode and a brighter parallel mode, with additional mixing options between front and rear pickups.
