Description

To achieve the classic tone of the original ES models, the ES-339 Pro Guitar features a pair of Alnico Classic PRO humbucker pickups, that produce a versatile tone, suitable for a range of styles. Located in the neck and bridge positions, these PRO humbuckers can be easily sculpted via the volume control and a 3-way pickup selector which also features a push/pull coil tap.

The ES-339 Pro features a semi-hollow body construction, with classic 'F' holes for enhanced resonance, as well as an open and airy tone. The laminated maple body delivers an overall bright tone with exceptional clarity so that you can achieve the ringing, bell-like tone of the iconic ES series. The maple is extremely lightweight and the reduced body size is especially ideal for a fingerpicking style as the slim body lets the player hold it closer to their body.

The ES-339's neck features a SlimTaper D profile, and has a double cutaway, for unhindered and effortless navigation of the fingerboard. The mahogany neck offers a rich and deep tone, and is is paired with a rosewood fingerboard for enhanced articulation and warmth.

The Epiphone ES Series became an iconic, rock classic when introduced into the 50s scene, with its curvaceous body and stylish 'F' holes. The ES-339 PRO is the perfect size for those who struggled with the older ES models, with its smaller body dimensions yet still retaining the bell-like tone the ES series is famous for.
