Built on the heart of the popular ST-6V6se, the Atomic Jr adds a year-in-the-making triode reverb stage using a dedicated 12DW7 tube feeding a spring tank, delivering surprisingly BIG reverb—especially impressive given its compact size.
Most amps this small that attempt reverb and big tone come up short. Not so with the 14-lb Class A Atomic Jr. It sounds and feels like a monster—a true testament to Swart's craftsmanship.
The circuit stays beautifully simple, including that lush reverb, and features intuitive controls: Volume, Tone, and Swart’s signature “Space” reverb. There’s also a “Hot/Clean” switch: engage it for extended clean headroom and slower break-up, or switch it off for more raw, quicker saturation—it’s like a built-in tone-shaping hot switch.
