Description

The Westone Thunder II Bass offers playability, excellent tonal response, well balanced durable construction, and a choice of attractive finishes, all features expected of a modern high quality bass guitar.

Hard maple and walnut are used for the laminated 5 piece through neck, and selected Canadian ash for the body which has a deep offset cutaway giving full access to all 24 frets. The finger- board is of polished ebony with pearl snowflake inlays and a brass nut. Scale length is 34".

Double Magnet-F765 split pick-ups give a bright clean sound, and these can be switched through the integrated equalizer circuit. Pick-up selector switch, master volume, master tone, equalizer in/out switch, equalizer tone boost, dual tone switch, and out of phase switch are the comprehensive controls fitted. The rotary controls have knurled brass knobs for smooth opera- tion. Two 9 volt batteries power the guitars active circuit. A preci- sion solid brass bridge with saddles individually adjustable for height and scale, and rotomatic die-cast machine heads com- plete the first class specification of this instrument. Available in translucent Savanna Yellow or Walnut.
